Sage 50 Bill of Materials

Designed for small and growing manufacturing businesses, this program enables you to create detailed bills of materials for products to be manufactured, including an unlimited number of components and unlimited number of levels of build and with any number of sub-assemblies.

You can easily identify shortages of materials and automatically place purchase orders in Sage 50 Accounts Professional, selecting from a list of alternative suppliers. You can also include machine and labour operations as well as sub-contract operations.

You can add a component to multiple BOMs in a single action. Also, rather than consolidating cost elements at each level (e.g. labour and materials), you can rollup costs for each element. Working with your Bill of Materials will be so much simpler.

Sage 50 Job Controller

Provides all the functionality required for manufacturing companies who operate within a jobbing or non-repetitive environment. A powerful estimating tool enables you to provide accurate and timely quotations for work.

Stock is allocated and issued against jobs, instantly updating your Sage 50 accounts. Invoices can be raised for all or parts of jobs, and then posted automatically to your Sage 50 accounts. To manage your costs more effectively, you can also see actual costs versus estimates and the variance.

Businesses are increasingly being asked to conform to their customers' ISO9000 quality requirements. Sage Line 50 Job Controller enables you to satisfy the demands for better control by providing batch traceability for every component.

There is now a fast estimate entry facility which enables a complete estimate to be entered using just one input screen. You can now enter sizes (e.g. H x W x L) against any components; automatically calculating the quantity needed, and can also quote multiple batch sizes on the same estimate.

The estimating tool has been enhanced to speed up the creation of estimates for one-off jobs. New estimates can be created simply by copying a previous identical or similar job. Once orders have been accepted, you can print MRP recommendations by each estimate stage, such as design, manufacture, installation, etc.

Production can be scheduled backwards including lower level sub-assemblies from your due delivery date to calculate a start date, saving you time and ensuring that you have sufficient time to organise resources and sub-assemblies.

Sage 50 Batch Controller

Designed for businesses involved in repetitive batch manufacturing. Sage Batch Controller automatically takes outstanding orders from your Sage 50 Accounts Professional software and calculates the production requirements necessary to fulfill these.

You can enter a sales forecast which can be combined with orders from your Sage 50 accounts program to calculate the production requirements necessary to fulfill these.

It also allows you to enter 'make for stock' items. It then allocates and issues stock against work orders, automatically updating your Sage 50 accounts. Goods received are recorded for instant traceability, whilst certificates of conformity are produced, confirming ISO quality standards.

Sage 50 Manufacturing Controller

It allows you to enter 'make for stock' items and then allocates and issues stock against work orders, automatically updating your Sage 50 accounts. A powerful integrated graphical scheduler enables production to be planned effectively.

Sage Manufacturing Controller incorporates a powerful Graphical Planner, powered by Preactor International. The Graphical Planner is a finite capacity graphical planning tool that enables you to calculate and run resource plans for all demands.

Different production plans can be produced and saved for the same set of demands, so you can assess the impact on resources, for example, if adding overtime or extra shifts. The software automatically sequences the production for every finished item.

Sage Manufacturing Controller provides greater visibility of how to optimise production, letting you feel empowered to make changes for the better by using the 'what if' tool to see the impact of different scenarios.

Sage Shop Floor Data Collection
